Foods to avoid in the evening

Caffeine: Consuming caffeine-containing beverages or foods such as coffee, tea, or chocolate in the evening can interfere with sleep & keep you awake at night.

Spicy foods: Spicy foods can cause heartburn, acid reflux, & indigestion, which can make it difficult to sleep comfortably.

Fatty or fried foods: Foods that are high in fat or fried can take longer to digest & can cause discomfort, bloating, or stomach upset, especially if consumed in large quantities.

Alcohol: While alcohol may initially make you feel drowsy, it can interfere with the quality of your sleep & cause you to wake up frequently during the night.

Sugary foods: Consuming foods that are high in sugar before bed can cause a rapid spike in blood sugar levels, which can disrupt sleep & cause you to wake up in the middle of the night.

Heavy meals: Eating a large, heavy meal before bed can also make sleeping harder & may cause digestive discomfort.
