How to remove shower Doors?


Wear safety goggles, gloves, & protective clothing before starting the process.


Remove the screws from the shower door hinges using a screwdriver.


If the door is attached with adhesive, use a utility knife to score the edges of the adhesive to break the seal.


Spray lubricant on the screws, hinges, & tracks to loosen them up.


Use a hammer & a flathead screwdriver to pry the frame away from the wall.


Use a pry bar to remove any stubborn adhesive or caulk.If the door is still stuck, tap the frame gently with a rubber mallet.


If you're still having trouble, use a reciprocating saw to cut through the metal frame.


Lift the door off the tracks, starting at the bottom and working your way up.


Clean up any remaining adhesive or caulk with a putty knife.


Remove the screws holding the tracks in place & lift them off.


Use a solution of warm water & mild soap to clean the area where the doors were attached.
